restoration residency
God is raising up the next generation of pastors, church planters, and missionaries. The Restoration Residency exists to identify, equip, and send men who are called to pastoral ministry so that healthy churches are planted, leaders are developed, and the gospel continues to spread throughout Iowa, our nation, and the world.
The Residency is an intentional, hands-on leadership development experience designed for men who sense God calling them to serve in pastoral ministry, whether in an established church, a future church plant, or on the mission field. Residents will learn in the classroom, serve in the local church, receive personal coaching, and gain practical ministry experience while growing in their relationship with Christ.

The Restoration Residency exists to develop future leaders who will engage communities with the gospel and plant churches through Restoration Church.
We believe the local church is God's primary vehicle for making disciples. As residents grow in character, competency, and conviction, they will be equipped to faithfully shepherd God's people and advance His Kingdom wherever He leads.

GAGE HARDEN
Gage currently serves as an elder at Restoration Church and stepped into the role of Church Planting Resident in July, 2026. He and his family have been blessed by Restoration’s commitment to making disciples, developing leaders, and he is grateful for the opportunity to grow through this residency.
